A One Minute Christmas
I have decided to practice a “one minute Christmas” for the next week.
The idea came when Ken Blanchard, author of the best-selling “One Minute Manager” spoke last week at our Christmas Community Leadership Breakfast.
Ken committed his life to the Lord later in life and now writes and speaks to help people “Lead Like Jesus.”
I suggested we could best thank Ken (who came gratis) by observing a “one minute Christmas.”
That is – take at least one minute (and hopefully many more) each day – to give someone a gift – a smile, a word of encouragement, calling their name, giving them a thanks for something, listening to a concern, offering a one minute silent prayer for them.
One minute a day – at least!
Why not join me in a “one minute Christmas” – might mean more than a big gift!
