Stewarding God’s Gift of Grace
Courtney Grager is one of our newest mentors and coaches. She serves as one of the pastors at Marin Covenant Church in San Rafael, California. Her doctoral dissertation is entitled Bold Love: A Strategy for Equipping Saints to Share Stories of Hope. Helping believers tell our stories motivates Courtney. In today’s text of 1 Peter 4:1-11, she shares how to give the gift of grace to your family, friends, and the world.
How You Can Pray
Elke Werner, one of our mentors, leads The Pilgrims group in Germany. She also guides the networks Hope for Europe (Women in Leadership) and Rise in Strength (Global Christian Women in Leadership). As we recognize Women’s History Month and Elke as a mentor and global leader, let’s pray for her and her ministry:
1. Pray that God will be glorified in her life as she bears fruit for Him (John 15:8).
2. Pray that Elke will rest in Christ, allowing Him to meet all of her needs and direct her life (John 15:5).
3. Ask God to empower her as she mentors and networks with other people in ministry, making a positive difference in their lives (2 Timothy 2:2).
4. Ask the Lord to open doors for her to share His hope with others (Colossians 4:3-4).
