Walking by Faith
Marnie Crumpler of Grace Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, shares today’s Sunday Extra message. She participates in a new mentoring-discipleship initiative with LFM. A donor has provided funds to allow us to work with a group of select pastors who have committed to disciple lay leaders to build a culture of discipleship in their churches. Today Marnie helps us think through what faith is in our lives.
Praying the Scriptures
Wesley Paul, an evangelist with deep ties to LFM, just returned from ministering in Dubai, Nepal, and India. Please pray for the people impacted by his ministry while he traveled. Also, pray for him as he prepares to speak at Wheaton College on November 7th. Let’s join together in praying Paul’s words from the book of Colossians:
“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light” (Colossians 1:9-12 NIV).
