Sunday Extra: When The Right Person Intervenes
Josh Moody is the senior pastor of 3 Village Church on Long Island, New York. For years, Josh has been a part of a mentoring group with Ken Shigematsu. Ken is a member of our Strategic Advisory Board. His mentoring group is called the Shiggies. The influence that flows to Josh from Leighton is like that of a spiritual grandson. So many have been enriched by Leighton through these mentoring touches.
In this sermon, Josh tells us about Philip, a deacon in the early church, who followed the direction of the Holy Spirit. As Christians who have the Holy Spirit inside us, our role begins with listening and then asking questions to help people take the next step in their journey of faith.
